Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch, burrito size)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 to 10 slices deli ham
  • 8 to 10 slices deli cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or provolone)
  • 1 to 2 tbsp ranch seasoning, freshchives, or dill (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Let the cream cheese soften fully at room temperature, then stir in your chosen seasoning.
  • Spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese across each tortilla, edge to edge.
  • Layer ham slices, then cheese slices, staying about half an inch from the edges.
  • Roll tightly from the edge closest to you, folding the first turn snug against the filling.
  • Wrap each roll tightly in plastic wrap, twisting the ends closed.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight.
  • Trim the ends, then slice into 1-inch rounds with a sharp serrated knife.

Notes

If the rounds unravel when sliced, they likely need more time in the fridge. A full hour minimum is what sets the roll enough to hold its shape once cut.
