Candy Charcuterie Boo Basket
A candy charcuterie boo basket arrangessnack-size chocolate, chewy candy, and seasonal treats on a board so aHalloween gift basket looks intentional instead of like a dumped-out bag ofcandy.
Ingredients
- 1 board, tray, or platter (12-16 inches)
- 2 small bowls or mini cauldrons
- 8 fun-size chocolate bars (Reese's, Kit Kat, orTwix)
- 1 cup gummy worms
- 1 cup Sour Patch Kids or Swedish Fish
- 1 cup M&M's or Skittles
- 1 cup candy corn or mellowcreme pumpkins
- 2 tbsp candy eyeballs1cup pretzels or caramel popcorn
Instructions
- Place empty bowls on the board first, spaced apart rather than centered.
- Arrange the largest items, like stacked chocolate bars, in a loose line or fan near the bowls.
- Cluster the chewy candy in small groups around the board, keeping each type separate.
- Pour the M&M's, candy corn, and other loose candy into the bowls.
- Fill remaining gaps with candy eyeballs and any leftover pieces.
- Add chocolate bars last if the board will sit out for more than a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Swap any candy for what's on sale or already in your pantry. Keep the board in a cool spot until just before serving if your kitchen runs warm.
